In the crowded wireless earbuds market, it can be challenging to find an affordable yet high-quality option. The VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds aim to strike a balance between value and performance. Priced under $10, these compact Bluetooth earbuds offer features like a long battery life, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, touch controls, and an IP67 waterproof rating. However, there are some downsides to consider regarding sound quality and comfort. In this review, we evaluate the VANZO X10 wireless earbuds in detail to help determine if they are the right choice for you.
The VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds are an ultra-affordable pair of wireless earbuds that provide decent value for casual listening on a budget. They feature Bluetooth 5.2 for a stable wireless connection, onboard touch controls, and an IP67 water resistance rating, so they can handle sweat and rain. Battery life is a high point, with up to 5 hours of playback time on a single charge and up to 120 hours in the charging case.
- Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity
- IP67 water resistance rating
- Up to 5 hours playback on a charge
- Charging case provides up to 120 hours total battery life
- Onboard touch controls for playback and call control
- Supports single earbud use
- CVC 8.0 noise reduction for calls
Design and Comfort
The VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds have an all-plastic construction that feels rather cheap but helps keep the weight down. The earbuds themselves are compact and lightweight, though some may find the one-size-fits-all ear tips to be uncomfortable for long listening sessions. The charging case, while portable, also feels cheaply made. The IP67 water resistance is a welcome feature for budget earbuds, though, allowing the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds to withstand rain, sweat, and splashes.
Ease of Use
Bluetooth pairing is quick and simple. The intuitive touch controls respond reliably to let you control music and calls without reaching for your phone. Operation is straightforward right out of the box.
At under $10, the sound quality of the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds is about what you would expect. Sound is serviceable for casual listening but lacks depth and detail. Highs can sound tinny, and bass has little impact. Volume gets plenty loud but brings extra distortion at higher levels. For the price, the sound is passable, but audiophiles will want to look elsewhere. Phone calls are reasonably clear, thanks to CVC noise suppression technology, though ambient noise still comes through.
Built-in microphones effectively pick up the user’s voice for phone calls and voice assistants. Noise cancellation helps isolate the voice from background sounds for clarity. Most users are pleased with call quality in quiet environments.
While not the most advanced active noise cancellation, the dual microphones do block out some ambient noise like chatter and low rumbles. This allows you to better focus on your content without blasting volumes. ANC performance exceeds expectations given the affordable price point.
Battery life is a standout feature of the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds. You can expect up to 5 hours of playback time from the earbuds themselves at moderate volume levels. The charging case provides an additional 20 charges, for up to 120 hours of overall battery life. The charging case can fully recharge the earbuds in about an hour. The case even has enough juice to provide a quick power boost to your smartphone in an emergency.
Bluetooth 5.2 enables quick pairing as well as stable connections up to 50 ft away from your phone or tablet. Some users have experienced occasional hiccups with longer distances or obstructions. Overall, the wireless performance is reliable.
The IP67 rating indicates the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds can withstand fresh water immersion up to 1 meter deep. You don’t need to worry about sweat, rain, or accidental splashes when exercising or in daily use.
The VANZO X10 wireless earbuds are best suited for:
Casual listening on a budget: If you need basic truly wireless earbuds for casual music streaming, audiobooks or podcasts on a budget, the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds could work.
Sport/fitness: The IP67 rating, long battery life, and stable Bluetooth 5.2 connection make the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds suitable for activity use.
Calls: While call quality won’t match more premium earbuds, the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds can work for making and receiving calls when needed. CVC 8.0 helps reduce some background noise.
The VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds are not ideal for:
Audiophiles or critical listening: The mediocre sound quality won’t satisfy if high-quality, detailed audio is a priority.
Noisy environments: Despite the CVC 8.0 noise reduction, ambient sound still leaks in making the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds poorly suited for very noisy settings.
All-day comfort: The cheap ear tips may fatigue some ears over extended use, though fit and comfort will vary from person to person.
With over 298 global ratings on Amazon, the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds have an average rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars. Here’s a breakdown of what users highlight in their reviews:
Many users praise the impressive sound these budget earbuds deliver. The bass reproduction exceeds expectations with punchy, dramatic lows that add excitement to music and videos without muddying the mids and highs. Vocals sound crisp and clear. There’s good stereo separation providing an immersive listening experience. Some users find the highest volumes too loud or shrill. Overall, the dynamic sound defies the low price point.
The battery capacity equates to all-day power for most users. They appreciate being able to listen for up to 5 hours straight or pop the earbuds in and out of the charging case multiple times without worrying about them dying. The case providing an additional 20 charges is a huge plus for commute, travel, and active lifestyles.
Reviewers say the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds are lightweight and comfortable enough for extended wear. The ear tips form a secure seal without feeling tight or pressured. The low-profile design doesn’t stick out much. Some users with smaller ears find them a bit bulky, so trying different sized ear tips helps.
Connection stability and range meet expectations for most users indoors up to about 30 feet from their phone. Some experience occasional cutting out at longer distances or when outdoors. Quick pairing and reconnecting after taking earbuds in and out of the case is a major convenience.
While not the most advanced ANC, users say the dual microphone system does muffle ambient sounds sufficiently for travel and work. It improves clarity for podcasts and calls in noisier environments. Overall, ANC works decently well considering the affordable price tag.
Nearly every reviewer touts the surprising value offered by the VANZO X10 Wireless Earbuds given the features and performance. Advanced capabilities like touch controls, noise cancellation, long battery life, and waterproofing are uncommon at this low price point. For shoppers on a tight budget, these earbuds deliver impressive bang for buck.

Power on: Remove the earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically power on and pair. Put them in your ears.
Touch controls: Tap the touch-sensitive area of the earbuds to control playback and calls. Tap once to play/pause, tap 2-3 times to skip tracks, long press to activate your phone’s voice assistant.
Single/twin earbud use: You can use either the left or right earbud independently or together. The earbuds will automatically power on together when removed from the case.
Charging: Place the earbuds in the charging case to charge them. The case can charge the earbuds roughly 5 times before needing to be recharged itself via USB-C. The LEDs will indicate the battery level of the case and each earbud.
